The short version
Two of the three tools never send your file anywhere: they run in your browser. The third one sends only the Google Maps link you paste, and keeps nothing. There is no account, no tracking script and no advertising cookie. The only cookie on this site remembers which language you chose.
Your files
The GPX to Google Maps tool and the KML to GPX tool read your file with the browser's own file reader and convert it in JavaScript, on the page you are looking at. The file is never uploaded, never written to our disks and never seen by us. You can check this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, go to the network panel, and convert a file - no request appears.
The Google Maps link
The Google Maps to GPX tool has to work on the server, and the link you paste is therefore sent to us. It is used for the conversion and discarded when the response is sent: it is not written to a database and not kept in a log of its own. A Google Maps link can reveal where you are going, so if that matters to you, that is the tool to think twice about.
Services we ask for help
To rebuild the roads of a Google Maps route, two services run by other people are queried: Nominatim (OpenStreetMap) to turn place names into coordinates, and a routing engine on OpenStreetMap data for the geometry of the roads. They receive the coordinates and place names of your route, and their own privacy terms apply. Map tiles in the previews are loaded from OpenStreetMap, which means your browser contacts openstreetmap.org directly when a map is shown.
Cookies
One cookie, named gpxtools_lang, which stores the language you picked so the site keeps speaking it. It is a technical cookie and needs no consent, which is also why this site has no cookie banner: there is nothing else to ask you about. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party scripts.
Server logs
The web server records requests in the usual way, including IP addresses, for 30 days, for security and diagnostics. The hourly cap on the Google Maps tool counts requests per visitor without storing addresses: the address is hashed together with the current date, so the counter can tell two visitors apart but cannot be traced back to anyone, and yesterday's entries cannot be linked to today's.
Who is responsible, and your rights
The data controller is D2ICS Srl, Viale Monza 347 - 20126 Milano (P. IVA 14121350962). You can write to privacy@motogpx.org to ask what is held about you, to have it corrected or erased, or to object to its processing. Given how little is collected, most of these answers will be short.

motogpx.org is a separate site with its own accounts and its own privacy policy. Following a link from here does not carry anything with you: you arrive as a new visitor, and nothing you converted here is shared with it.
