The file stays with you
A GPS track is a record of where you have been: your home, your Sunday routes, the times you were there. There is no good reason for a converter to collect that, so this one does not. The conversion happens on the page you are looking at.
No account, no limits to remember
Nothing to sign up for and nothing to confirm by email. The only tool with a cap is the Google Maps link one, and only because it leans on free services run by other people - the page tells you which, and what the cap is.
It tells you what it cannot do
A Google Maps link holds eleven stops at most - that is Google's limit, not ours - and a Maps link does not contain the roads, only the stops. Both of those change what you get, so both are said out loud on the page instead of quietly producing something wrong.
